INTERPOL-WCO-SAS National SALW Training in UAE

Activity description

In the framework of EU-LAS Project on Small Arms and Light Weapons , INTERPOL, the World Customs Organization (WCO) and Small Arms Survey conducted a National Small Arms and Light Weapons Training for the United Arab Emirates. During this training course, participants were divided into three groups according to their expertise. The training course included modules on stockpile management, firearms transfer controls, firearms markings, records keeping, firearms trafficking investigations, firearms idenification, firearms tracing, new modus operandi and trafficking trends.

The EU-LAS Project on Small ARMS and Light Weapons is a joint project between INTERPOL, World Customs Organization and Small Arms Survey funded by the EU.
