Planning Meeting for the Ratification of the ATT in the ECOWAS Region
Organized by the West African Action Network on Small Arms (WAANSA), the purpose of the meeting was to identify the relevant content for a training of trainers to be developed for civil society organizations. The training was intended to support lobbying and campaigning in order to ratify the ATT. After the content of the training was validated, four workshops were organized. The meeting was held in Elmina, Ghana.
The WAANSA project is organizing a series of seminars funded by the UK to build the capacity of West African civil society organizations in advocating for the signature and ratification of the ATT by Member States in the subregion.
