Activity description

The round table meeting was funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) in Frankfurt, Germany. The meeting aimed to enable participating countries, international practitioners and the implementing agency to share their insights and experiences with regard to ATT ratification and implementation. It also gave the partner countries of the EU ATT Outreach Project and nationally-funded projects the opportunity to discuss among themselves as well as with EU experts any challenges, needs and priorities identified within the cooperation. The goal of this meeting was to help countries enhance their ATT implementation strategies while maximising the effects of cooperation at an international level. Participants included officials from a variety of backgrounds (diplomatic, military/defence, technical and law enforcement) as well as representatives from international and regional organisations.
