From November 2013 to October 2014 HI conducted activities to reduce the risks posed by conventional weapons (CW) to local populations and contribute to the prevention of related accidents through the clearance of the Ammunition Storage Areas (ASA) in Misrata. In addition, HI carried PSSM activities for government owned facilities and for capacity building of national authorities in relevant technical areas closely linked with the International Ammunition Technical Guidelines (IATSGs).
