From 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2016 the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), with funding from UNSCAR, implemented a range of ATT-UNPOA-relevant activities in African states. The activities, which targeted Botswana, Uganda, Namibia, Rwanda and South Africa, aimed to promote the ratification and implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) and the UN Programme of Action (UNPOA) through national level and regional level workshops.
