Organized by the Nigerian Presidential Committee on SALW, the expert round-table meeting discussed the "Firearms Bill 2014" with the aim of improving the bill as well as respective efforts in countering proliferation of SALW in Nigeria. The meeting brought together representatives from federal ministries and Nigerian security and military forces as well as regional and international experts from the ECOWAS Commission, UNREC, WAANSA and the CLEEN Foundation.
