During Fiscal Year 2013 the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the US Department of State's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM/WRA) funded work by the Mine Advisory Group (MAG) on Conventional Weapons Disposal (CWD) and Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) in Somaliland. MAG improved PSSM for Somaliland’s military, police, and maritime forces. In total, the US State Department provided $3.92 million for Conventional Weapons Disposal (CWD) in Somalia during Fiscal Year 2013.
