MAG assistance to secure explosives in Lebanon

Since September 2017, as part of its global outreach activities, MAG was tasked to identify practical steps to improve the safety, security and management of Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) ammunition in Lebanon. This expert assessment was followed by storage facility construction, rehabilitation and training.
Descripción del Proyecto
These activities were part of a project, implemented by MAG with funding from the USA, aiming to promote safety and security of ammunition storage in Lebanon. The US government has pledged further support for MAG to undertake medium- and long-term improvements to priority LAF facilities while delivering training to LAF personnel.
