The purpose of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Relations and Cult of the Republic of Costa Rica and the Arias Foundation for Peace and Human Progress is to carry out joint activities, in the national and international arena, promoting nuclear disarmament, full implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty and the UN 2001 PoA on SALW, human rights and climate change awareness activities. Moreover, the agreement also notes the design of a sensitization campaign for the peaceful resolution of controversies.
