CARICOM IMPACS Delivers a Regional Technical Support Workshop on the Implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty in Trinidad and Tobago

Activity description

CARICOM IMPACS (Caribbean Community Implementation Agency for Crime and Security) held a regional seminar with the objective of supporting national and regional collaboration in the ATT ratification and implementation processes. The workshop focused on brokering, particularly on the development of a CARICOM Common Position on Arms Brokering. The workshop also promoted the adoption and implementation of a CARICOM coordinating and implementing ATT mechanism. The seminar was organized in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). UNLIREC participated and delivered a presentation on its ATT Implementation Course.
