RECSA ATT Sensitization workshop in Rwanda

Activity description

On 9-10 October 2018, Rwanda, in cooperation with RECSA, hosted a two-day sensitization workshop on the ratification process of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), in order to prepare the launch of the related legal processes in order to ratify the Treaty after its signature in 2013. The workshop tackled, inter alia, the issue of illicit proliferation of arms, organized crime in the region and broad topics as threats to peace and security in the sub-region.
