The 32nd Ministerial Meeting of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa (UNSAC) promoted disarmament and arms limitation programmes in Central Africa including the implementation of the Brazzaville Programme of Priority Activities (proliferation of SALW and disarmament of civilian populations), adopted the Sao Tomé Declaration on a Central African Common Position on the ATT and reported on status of signatures and ratification of the Kinshasa Convention. The meeting was held in São Tomé and Príncipe.

Descripción del Proyecto

The Ministerial Meetings of UNSAC are a bi-annual analysis of the disarmament situation in the sub-region, with a specific focus on the advances in the implementation of international, regional and sub-regional instruments. The Committee is a sub-regional grouping of eleven Member States: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Rwanda, and São Tomé and Príncipe.
