During Fiscal Year 2014 the US Department of State funded work by Mines Advisory Group (MAG) in Somaliland. MAG improved the Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) capacity of Somalia’s military, police, and maritime forces. As part of this work, MAG built armories for the Somali National Army in Mogadishu. In total, the U.S. government contributed $2 million for Conventional Weapons Disposal (CWD) in Somaliland during Fiscal Year 2014.
