From 5 November 2018 to 16 November 2018 RECSA, in collaboration with the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Central African Republic (CNC-ALPC), organised a capacity building exercise on SALW controls. The exercise, funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and attended by members of the National Commission and the armed forces in Central Africa, aimed to provide the participants with expertise on regional and international instruments and guides on SALW controls. The exercise also contributed to the development of a National Action Plan on Small Arms and Light Weapons.
