First 2019 training workshop on safe and secure ammunition management in Côte d'Ivoire
On 23-25 October 2019, the National Commissions on Small Arms and Light Weapons (ComNat-ALPC) of Côte d'Ivoire, with funding from the ATT Voluntary Trust Fund (ATT VTF), conducted a first workshop on safe and secure ammunition management in Assinie-Mafia for 30 logistic officers and armourers from the security and defense forces. Officers from the Armed Forces of Côte d'Ivoire (FACI), the Superior Command of the National Gendarmerie, the General Directorate of the National Police (DGPN), the General Directorate of Ivorian Customs (DGDI), the General Directorate of Forests and Wildlife (DGFF) and ComNat-ALPC, were trained on the safe and secure management of ammunition in accordance with the International Ammunition Technical Guidelines (IATG). They shared knowledge through exercises and interactive exchanges.
The project 'Training workshop on safe and secure ammunition management' was implemented between July and November 2019 by the National Commissions on Small Arms and Light Weapons (ComNat-ALPC) of Côte d'Ivoire, with funding from the ATT Voluntary Trust Fund (ATT VTF). The ComNat-ALPC conducted two workshops on safe and secure ammunition management in Côte d'Ivoire for 60 logistic officers and armourers.
