From 26 October to 6 November 2020, the British Peace Support Team Africa (BPST-A) supported a two-weeks Senior Leaders' Weapons and Ammunition Accountability and Management (SLWAAM) course in Kenya with almost 30 participants from the military and the police forces. The training gave participants the opportunity to develop their skills on safety, security and control measures for small arms and light weapons and ammunition incorporating African Union and UN doctrines and standard operating procedures for a variety of related issues.
