APP Meets with Parliaments, Chancelleries, and Implementing Agencies in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay
The purpose of these assistance activities was to conduct meetings to bring together the Presidents of the Commissions that spearhead the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), the Directors of the implementing agencies and political parties in pursuit of the consensus for the ratification and implementation of the ATT.
The activities taken part in this initiative are part of the project 'The Arms Trade Treaty: From Discourse to Action' aimed at promoting the signature and ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty across the Southern Cone. This project was carried out by APP with the collaboration of the Swedish Fellowship of Reconciliation (SweFOR).
