CCCPA Cross Border Challenges in Africa Course on Human Trafficking and SALW 2016

Activity description

As part of the training modules provided by the CCCPA, a five-day training course took place on 14-18 February 2016. The course addressed the issues of human trafficking and the proliferation of small arms and light weapons (SALW). It also introduced methods to combat these issues using national legal frameworks and by regional and national cooperation. The course included exercises and group work.

Project description

The Cairo International Centre for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) provides training modules of capacity-building to diplomats, military and police personnel, parliamentarians, media representatives and NGOs. CCCPA also support peacekeeping missions in Africa. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs founded the CCCPA in 1997.
