Activity description

The Centre for Peace, Security and Armed Violence Prevention (CPS-AVIP) and the Secretariat of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) organized a training of trainers workshop on "Women, Violence and SALW" in Cameroon. The objective of this capacity-building workshop was to contribute to the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions on women and armed conflict in Central Africa; and the Kinshasa Convention on Small Arms and light weapons (SALW). Participants included ministry officials, diplomats, lawyers, tax inspectors, representatives of NGOs, civil society, religious and organizations for peace.
