In January 2012, at the request of the Djibouti Armed Forces and coordinated through the US Embassy in Djibouti the Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) SALW program conducted a Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) seminar in Djibouti City. The goal of the seminar was to orient 16 military participants with stockpile management responsibilities to international PSSM best practices for SALW and conventional ammunition.
