2nd Meeting of the AU-Regions Steering Committee on SALW and DDR
The AU-Regions Steering Committee on small arms and light weapons (SALW) and disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) held its 2nd meeting in Arusha, Tanzania. The meeting was part of the regular coordination meetings of the Steering Committee to, among others, evaluate the 2013 activities of the Members, and elaborate a vision for 2014 in the implementation of the SALW Strategy, the DDR Capacity Project, and the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) in Member States.
