On 26 February 2019 RECSA organised a workshop in Nairobi with the aim to raise awareness among member states on the role of the Arms Trade Treaty as an arms control instrument in the region. The workshop gave the participants the opportunity to discuss best practices and recommendations on the ATT, as well as the challenges to ratify the Arms Trade Treaty faced by states from the region.
