Activity description
During Fiscal Year 2012 the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the US Department of State's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM/WRA) funded work by the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) on the disposal of abandoned ordnance and SALW stockpiles and the safe clearance of unexploded ordnance in South Sudan. In total, the US State Department provided $2.8 million for conventional weapons destruction (CWD) in South Sudan during Fiscal Year 2012.
