EU P2P ATT OP II - Third Roadmap Activity on "Interagency coordination" for Cameroon

Activity description

On 17-18 September 2019, Eexactly a year after Cameroon ratified the ATT, Expertise France, in cooperation with the Ministry of External Relations of the Republic of Cameroon, organized a third roadmap activity in the framework of the EU P2P ATT Outreach Project  in Yaounde.

This third activity allowed an exchange of experiences between national authorities from Central Africa on the prevention of the risks of diversion and illicit trafficking in accordance with the Arms Trade Treaty. It also included table-top exercises aimed at assessing the end use of transactions.

Project description

The EUP2P ATT is a programme of the European Union in support of the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) co-implemented by Expertise France and BAFA. The main objectives of this programme are to promote the effective implementation of the ATT by supporting partner countries in the strengthening of their arms transfer control systems and to work towards the universal adoption of the treaty.
