Workshop to Develop Road Map on an Integrated Counter-Terrorism and Non-Proliferation of Arms Strategy in Central Africa

Activity description

In partnership with the Counter-terrorism Implementation Task Force of the United Nations Counter-terrorism Centre (UNCCT), UNOCA, and the Government of Gabon organized a workshop in Libreville to advance the road map for development of the integrated counterterrorism and SALW control strategy for the Central African sub-region. The workshop brought together national focal points from UNSAC Member States. They endorsed principles and identified requirements for the integrated strategy, specifically with regard to police and intelligence mechanisms.
