Small Arms Survey hybrid workshop to support the draft of Zambia’s National Conventional Arms Control Act
From 27 to 29 January 2021, the Small Arms Survey, with funding from the ATT Voluntary Trust Fund (ATT VTF), organized a 'hybrid' workshop to support the draft of Zambia’s National Conventional Arms Control Act. By the end of the meeting, a draft bill was ready for further deliberation among Zambian stakeholders and consultations with the Survey team.
The project 'project 'Building Capacity to Draft the Republic of Zambia’s Conventional Arms Control Act for Effective ATT Implementation is implemented by the Small Arms Survey in cooperation with Zambia and the with the financial support of the ATT Voluntary Trust Fund (ATT VTF). The goal of this project is to support Zambia to build capacity and receive technical knowledge to enable the draft of its Conventional Arms Control Act for effective ATT implementation.
